122ac Farm Land in Westminster, MD (Carroll Co)
For whatever reason, Carroll Co leases are tough as nails to come by. So when we get one, we get pretty excited. This one is 122ac right off of Sykesville Rd (RT32) in Westminster. Been recently purchased by one of our partner and more than happy to get it leased out.
Access to the land is going to be off of Ditman Rd with parking on the property. From there you can access the rest of the property by foot, truck or ATV. We do ask that any motorized vehicles be restricted to exiting roads/trails/field edges and only to be used to bring in/out game and equipment. The primary food source is going to be the AG fields on the property, which can possibly be converted into food plots as the new owner isn't anticipating on farming it this year. Just run your plans by us first for approval. The primary water source is going to be Joe Branch which runs along the western edge of the property. This was a working farm that did not have a lot of hunting pressure. The new owner was amazed in how much game he's seen on the property over the last few months since they bought it. Loaded with deer and turkey.
Other than DNR hunting regulations, there's no other additional restrictions or rules being imposed on this lease. And due to the size, we are asking to have no more than (8) hunters on the lease.
The cost of the lease is going to be $12,000/yr and this includes a hunting insurance policy from Outdoor Underwriters. A 50% non-refundable deposit locks this in with the balance due by June 15. Just use the discount code DEPOSIT when checking out for this option. And the hunters picking up this lease will have first right of refusal to renew it annually.
