132ac Farm Land in Leonardtown, MD (St. Mary's Co)
Picking up even more parcels in St. Mary's Co for this coming season as part of our expansion into the SoMD market. This one is on the southern tip of St. Mary's Co and right off of the Potomac River.,,,making this a prime area for waterfowl hunting as well as big game hunting and varmint hunting.
Access to the property is going to be off of Woodnbury Way, which is off of Richie Rd. Parking will be at the very end. From there you can access the rest or the propery by foot or by vehicle. We do ask that any vehicle use be limited to existing roads and trails and only used to bring in/out game and equipment. The primaty water source is going to be a number of local triburaties coming off of the Potomac River as well as a small pond on the property. The primary food sources are the AG field around the property as well as plenty of room on the property for a food plot if the hunters picking up this lease want to put one in. Just send in a scope of work as to what you want to plat so we can get the approval. Overall, this is an excellent year-round hunting lease.
The only restriction that the owner has put in place is no Sunday hunting, give a 24-hour advance noteice before coming on the property, and meet the hunters in advance before the season begins. They also want a group that will put a focus on killing coyotes, too. Due to the size of the lease, we are asking to have no more than (7) hunters on the lease. If your group needs more than this, please let us know so we can get the OK in advance.
The cost of the lease is going to be $7,000/yr and this does include a hunters insurance policy from Outdoor Underwriters. A 50% non-refundable deposit locks this in with the balance due withing 30 days of the deposit made. Just use the discount code DEPOSIT when checking out for this option. And the hunters picking up this lease will have first right of refusal to renew it for following seasons.
