68ac Wooded Land in Bedford, VA (Bedford Co)
Another one of the three leases we picked up in the Bedford Co area of SW Virginia. This one is just north of Bedford in the Blue Ridge Mountains, right near the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Access to the land is going to be off of Wheats Valley Rd with plenty of parking on the property. From there you can access the rest of the land via foot or ATV. We do as that ATV use be limited to bringing in/out game and equipment and restricted to existing trails. The primaty food source is going to be a number of AG fields to the NW of the property with plenty of areas to put in a food plot on the property too. We do ask thay you submit a scope of work to be approved first if you want to put one in. The primary water sources will be Overstreet Creek that runs next to the norther border of the property as well as a number of naturally ocurring springs on the property too. This is about as good as it gets for SW Virginia hunting and whoever picks this up will not be disappointed in the results too.
Other than VDGIF hunting regulations, there are no other weapons or harvest restriction on this lease. We are asking to have no more than (4) hunters on this lease.
The cost of the lease is going to be $2,400/yr and this does include a hunters insurance policy from Outdoor Underwriters. A 50% non-refundable deposit locks this in with the balance due by the end of April. just use the discount code DEPOSIT when checking out for this option. And the hunters picking up this lease will have first right of refusal to lock this in for future season.
