160ac Wooded Land in Klingerstown, PA (Schuylkill Co)
This is a really nice parcel of land that is probably one of the most accessible leases we have seen in a while. It is 160ac of wooded land that has a number of old logging roads all through it....making it perfect for ATV and truck access through the entire property.
Access to this lease is from two main points. The first is the parking area that is right off of Erdman Rd (aka Main St). The second is a dirt road access onto the property off of Fearnot Rd to the south. Both have plenty of parking and from these points there's literally miles of old logging roads that can be used by ATV's and trucks. Though this is a mountain, the terrain is not all that steep and is very walkable as well. The main food source is the naturally occurring vegetation on the lease as well as a few surrounding AG fields. And there's PLENTY of room for a few food plots if the hunters picking up this lease want to put them in. The primary water source is Pine Creek which makes up the south-western border (yes it is stocked) as well as Mahatango Creek that is just north of this property. The owner has allowed some hunters in the past but has been very selective as to who he has let on. And the sheer amount of game sign on the lease (deer, bear, turkey, varmint) is evident that the pressure is very low. Jumped a number of deer while on the land.
There are absolutely no harvest/access/weapon restrictions for this lease except for PGC laws. Due to the size, we are asking to have no more than (8) hunters. If your group needs more than this to lock it in, just let us know so we can get the OK.
The cost of the lease is going to be $5,150/yr and this includes a hunters insurance policy from Outdoor Underwriters. A non-refundable 50% deposit locks this in with the balance due by the end of May. Use the discount code DEPOSIT when checking out to make this option happen. Hunters locking in this lease will have first right of refusal to renew it for following seasons.
