228ac Farm Land in Millerstown, PA (Perry Co)
Perry Co is quickly becoming one of our countries in PA that's constantly growing. This is one of (3) solid leases in Perry Co that we just picked up for this coming season.
Access to this lease will be off of Sunbury Path with parking on the garage side of the property. From there, we can access the rest of the property by foot or by ATV. Just keep ATV use to the existing trails, out of the fields, and limited to bringing in & out game and equipment. The primary water source is going to be Cocolamus Creek that runs across the southern end of the lease as well as up the eastern side. The primary food sources will be the AG fields on the property. The layout of this lease is going to make this a great spot for hunting; especially the eastern end of this property where the creek changes direction. Just like the rest of our Perry Co leases, this one will not disappoint the hunters who pick it up.
There are a few rules that the landowner wants us to abide by. First off, this will be a restricted firearms use lease (limited to muzzleloader and shotgun n use only). The hunters will need to provide the landowner's land manager 24hrs advance notice of being on the lease. Due to the size of the lease we are capping this to no more than (10) hunters on the lease.
The cost of the lease is going to be $6,100/yr and this does include a hunters insurance policy from Outdoor Underwriters. A 50% deposit locks this in for the season with the balance due by the end of May. And the hunters picking up this lease will have first right of refusal to renew it for following seasons.
