77ac Wooded Land in White Plains, MD (Charles Co)
Picked up this 77ac portion of the 235ac of land owned Floating Lotus Farm for this coming season. This is everything that the farm owns that is north of Indian Head Rail Trail which is teeming with game. The owners of the property are reserving the right to hunt on the portion to the south and may make is available for the hunters on this lease to pick up for future seasons.
Access to the land is going to be from Madelyn Ct which is on the north side of the lease as well as from the Indian Head Rail Trail that is the southern border of the lease. From there, you can access the rest of the property by foot or by ATV. As usual, we ask that any ATV use be limited to bringing in/out game and equipment and restricted to exiting trails. The primary food source will be the AG fields that border this lease as well as naturally occurring vegetation on the lease. There's plenty of room on the lease for a food plot as well. Just submit plans for approval if you want to out one in. The primary water source is going to be Port Tobacco Creek that flows to the south of the property with tributaries that cross onto the lease and flow just north of it. Again, this is another lease in Charles Co that's prime for hunting and looking forward to seeing what the hunters harvest off of this property.
The only restriction on this lease, other than following DNR regulations, is no turkey hunting at this time. The owners have been working diligently on reestablishing the number of turkey on this property. This restriction can be discussed for future season. And due to the size of the property, we are asking to have no more than (4) hunters on the lease.
The cost of the lease is going to be $4,000/yr and this includes a hunters insurance policy from Outdoor Underwriters. A 50% non-refundable deposit locks this in with the balance due 30 days from the deposit being paid. Just use the discount code DEPOSIT when checking out for this option. And the hunters locking this in will have first right of refusal to renew it for following seasons.
